We would like to welcome our newest partners in convention work, Närcon from Sweden. The group behind Närcon and Genki is now working together to make 2012 a very special year for fans from both countries. Genki is a relatively young convention and Närcon which has been around for longer will help us out. In order to improve our convention we now share expertise and event organizers across borders to help both conventions.

A more interesting aspect is that Närcon and Genki are working together with nations in Scandinavia to create a stronger and better community for all fans of Japanese popular culture. We will have exciting news about what we have planned for 2012 later on! For now we welcome our new partners with great expectations for the future!
